Happy Late Birthday

My Rylon turned 6 this month. We had a fun day. I don't know how many people know this but I have these bitter feeling towards wrapping paper. It is an added expense just to have it torn and thrown out. This time I hid the presents around the house and then would ask Rylon to "grab me a towel out of the dryer" or "do we have any more butter in the freezer." And then...voila...a present. It was an exciting hunt here at the Tobers on Rylon's big day.

My Rylon has a unique little spirit. I had a little tender moment with him when I taught his primary class a few weeks ago. We were talking about the death of Christ, I looked over at my Rylon and tears had formed in his little eyes. I glanced and winked at him trying not to be obvious but he quickly wiped his eyes and said, "Mom I have something in my eye."

Later, at home, I took Rylon aside and asked him about what happened in class. I thought he would say something like the story made him sad and I would assure him that he should not be embarrassed. Well, instead he said, "I felt the spirit." I knew he had. That is one sweet kid!!

Rylon has a lot of love and wants to do whatever his dad is doing. His relationship with John is a fun one to watch. Rylon is sensitive like his mom and hilarious like his dad. He is such a joy in our home.

Happy Birthday Rylon!!
