At our ward Christmas party, pictures were being offered and we participated. I think this is our first family photo ever together. Thank you Misty for taking such an adorable photo!!Can I please explain? First, I can't bring myself to spending the money on a photo shoot that may or may not get the perfect picture. Second, I am usually pregnant or just having babies when I think to myself, "Hmm, we should have a family picture done." Third, John doesn't like having is picture taken and frankly, neither do I. I rather have photos all around my house of my kids. They absolutely make me smile.
So please observe our first family photo together. Moment of silence please..... wait turn off my music below. OK, now moment of silence......... Thank you Misty!

We are the same way with family pictures. For me it is the money thing for sure. Who wants to pay that much money when you don't know what you will get, plus the costs of getting them printed and feeling obligated to frame them because you spend that much money to get them taken. And then they get out dated WAY TOO FAST!! :) Just my thoughts... But cute picture. It really did turn out great. And if the photographer is free it makes it that much better. :)

everyone is happy and looking at the camera! That's quite an accomplishment with 5 kids!
We don't get family pictures taken much either. Faythe is past 2 and I don't have a family picture with her hanging up in the house. We are PAST due.
