Mom - "Not right now."
Jax - "Can we play video games then?"
Mom - "No."
Jax - "Well then what can we do?"
Mom - " Well, we could clean our room, read a book, play lego's, puzzels?"
Jax - " Ok"
runs upstairs
Rylon - "What did mom say?"
Jax - "She said we can do all the boring things."

That sounds just like our house except my nine year old usually throws in a "This is the worst day ever!" Good times.

Yeah, we're stuck with boring stuff in our house too... I wonder, did we do this to our parents? I'm sure they love to laugh at us now...
