Halloween and Other Things

Jax as Batman and Rylon as Superman

Broden as Rajah

Eyrlin as Jasmine, sad that Aladin is off fighting Jafar, or not.

John and I happy Halloween is over, but can't wait till the candy is gone!

Halloween

Costumes - The hype on costumes is over rated. I mean, what happened to being the traditional ghost, witch, or Cindy Lauper.

Candy - Does it make sense that I go out and buy candy that is sealed in it's package, and tell my kids they can't have any of it. But then, allow my kids to go out and knock on doors asking for candy from a stranger.

Scary Things - For the full month of October, I have all 4 kids in my bed scared to death of the things they see in the stores and on TV.

Solution - Go out of the country for the full month of October. We are saving up!!

I really do like Halloween a lot. I love that I get to see the different costumes that people choose to wear. I like watching a little kids face when you drop candy into his or her bucket. I like seeing the streets filled with little kids and parents enjoying their time together. I like that for a day my kids can be whatever they want.

It was the best Halloween ever!!

John's new friends....

These little guys are John's new friends. They say goodbye to him when he leaves in the morning for work. They greet him when he gets home. They even like to leave him little treats on his car.

I have named John's new friends; Lucky (he didn't get shot), One eyed Jack (because he still has his one eye), Bomber (I'm sure he is the one pooping on the cars) and Spike (he's the tough guy, he likes to sit right out in front and stare us down).

Well, say goodbye to John's dear friends. They are leaving us one by one. Good-bye Lucky, Jack, Bomber, and Spike! We really wont miss you!!

Are you going to shoot them? Come to my house next, we've got lots in our backyard, they love eating the chicken food.
Your kids' costumes are great! I'll bet they had lots of fun. It is a fun holiday after the costumes are on and before the candy is consumed :)
As always, it's so fun to see your cute family and read what you're up to.

We had some "friends" too. We got em with orange paint gun pellets. They didn't come back after that and it wouldn't have been hard to tell if they did. They were quite colorful.

weird Ashlynn wore that same costume last Halloween. Little Broders is so adorable. I love that costume on him. And Ashlynn had that same sad face the whole time she was getting ready.
