Hinges (Eyrlin's version)
I’m all made of hinges, ’cause ev’rything bends
From the top of my neck way down to my ends.
I’m hinges in front, and I’m hinges in back;
But I have to be hinges, or else I would CRAP!
Mom, "Eyrlin, it's crack."
Eyrlin "No, it's crap."
Boys "Ha, Ha, Ha."
Mom (trying not to laugh) "Crack, we don't say crap, that's not a nice word."
Eyrlin "Mom, you're just being silly. Stop it!"

That is classic! I love little kids humor. Glad that you have a blog too! :) I will come and take a peek every time you update!
Did you explain that without "hinges" whenever we did that word she said it would be really messy. Eww, gross. What a fun conversation, she is a cute girl.
Only one word to describe it... AWESOME!!
Glad you've got it written down. She's really going to get a kick out of this conversation in a couple years:)
Love it! Tell us another one.
That is hilarious. That girl comes up with the funniest stuff.
Hey I just saw your comment you left on my blog forever ago. Sorry I am just getting used to this. Trying to keep up. I just love to see John looking so happy in those pictures. I miss him. He was like my brother. I might have gone to your wedding but I can't remember it was so long ago. Yes we did live by janae and sam in phoenix. We live near them still. She has 6 now. 5 girls. The last one is named Charlotte. I don't know what they call her. Janae never calls her kids by their given names.
Anyway. I don't write alot on my blog because I don't like to read. So I just look at pictures. I sound like a dope I know. But there it is.

That's funny. I love they way kids interpret words they don't know. Hailey thought it was, Jesus wants me for a sunbeep, for the longest time, infact, she still might! :)
Oh man, I started cracking up when I read this post! Esp b/c when we first started dating, I would use the "c" word to express frustration, etc, and Jared actually asked me not to use it b/c he thought it was crass. So he, like you, had to train me to not use that word...
That makes sense to me...I might do that too if I didn't have hinges.
