It’s Tober Time…..

We have had some action packed activities these last few weeks and I thought I would share.

 

Cub Scout Day Camp

Jax is officially getting to be so BIG! Where has the time gone? I took this picture on his last day. He had a blast at day camp we heard all about it for days. Thanks to so many wonderful volunteers who helped make this a memorable event for my son.

 

DRYER MADNESS

I am super impressed by John’s skills. I had an off and on working dryer for a week. Finally, the thing pooped out on me. John came home to my make-shift laundry line in the kitchen and quickly sprung into action. $20 later and a YouTube video and my dryer is working great. Thanks Babe!!

Eyrlin is by far the most creative with ideas of things to do. She had a list. One included taking pictures of everything she did so she could show her brothers.

“Brothers I will miss you so much!!”

“But I am going to love doing what I want!!”

First thing on the agenda, we made a casserole for someone else and sent it off. (NOT on her agenda, but we had a last minute add on)

Second we did a puzzle together……

And drank out of a fancy glass which we broke. No biggy!

Third, Eyrlin ate one of dads ice creams and she was so excited. Oh, and it was BEFORE dinner, double exciting.

To top off the ice cream she swallowed a worm!!

Then we danced!!!

Played guitar.

Sang at the top of our lungs.

Ordered a pizza.

Watched a movie.

And put together one of the brothers Lego sets.

After all that fun time we went to bed and Eyrlin slept with me, which was so exciting. When we woke in the morning it was video games till the brothers got home.

We loved the time we spent together. Canon was home, but he missed is afternoon nap so I could put him down early for a night with Eyrlin. Canon didn’t mind a bit!

Eyrlin and I had lots of long talks about being a mom. I am pretty proud of her and all that she wants to do when she is a mom. That girl always has a smile on her face and a HUGE hug everyday for us.

We had a great time and I can’t wait until next year.

As you can see we were busy! This week, I am catching up on all the laundry, finishing up some activities so Jax can earn his Wolf, and trying out a 550 piece puzzle with Eyrlin.
