Congrats to Mary and Ike!!! I am so excited for them. I wish I were there to help with the planning and shopping. I wish I could get to know Ike better. I wish I could get a closer look at the rock she has on her finger, good job Ike. I wish I was there when she was she was sayin' yes to the dress. Oh how I wish I could be all up in their bizness. Side note: Mary loves it when I am all up in her BIZNESS!!

I wish I could go to Arizona for a month to watch the love birds plan their wedding bash. Knowing Mary it will be a BASH!

Talking to Mary on the phone about everything makes me think about my engagement.

"AHHHH!!"

I had an awesome engagement with John. We were so fun and silly, never a dull moment. I got flowers all the time, songs left on my voicemail at work, and lots of bum pinches. I use to page him (showing our age) little messages that he would have to figure out. We would even fight over who loved who more. I loved him more. Life was wonderful!!

Now the flowers he gives me are the ones that make cookies, when I ask him to pick me up some at the store. And the songs he leaves me are because he forgot to lock the keys on his phone. Bum Pinches?? What's that?

Actually, we just have new cute little things we do. Like anything in threes is I love you. Three hand squeezes, three winks or three of anything really. The I love you messages randomly sent every once in a while. Or just taking over a chore or dinner.

Life is full of little ways to tell someone you love them and that you care about them.

So, congrats Hammer and Ike!! Here is to finding all the cute little ways to say I love you.
