Embracing Summer

BBQ
I didn't know where to start so I told John to fire up the BBQ. I love a cool house and cooking inside is not cool.
Updating our 72 hour kit
Our next summer activity was updating our 72 hour kit. The kids did not like this activity too much. I kept saying this is so fun and they would say no it's not, I tried. However, it needed to be done and it's done. YAY!!
This is where we keep them.
Catching Z's
This is the best activity of all.
Hmmm.. that sounds good right now.

Playing in the water
I was slightly jealous seeing my kids run around in the water. Maybe next time, if no one is watching, I'll throw on my suit and run around in the water........ Or maybe not, it would be fun though.
Eyrlin
Rylon getting a bucket of water poured on his head.
Broden
Jax just soaked himself with the bucket of water.
Canon, he is still enjoying the benefit of napping in the summer. Isn't he a chunk, I love it!

I told my kids to give mom some time to heal from the 11 pound delivery and we will get out and have some fun. Well, they wrote a list of all the things they wanted to do when I was up and moving again. The list has about 20 activities on it. BBQ and naps are not on the list so we have only done one thing this week, I have got to get on it.

Here is to a fun filled summer!

You just inspired me...again. Looking at your 72 hours kits all packed in that chest got me choked up. You are such a good example of obedience. Thanks you for that. :)
