SO PRECIOUS!!I love this little guy. He is such a good baby with lots of kissable cheek space. When he sleeps I want to wake him up and when he is awake I want to watch him sleep. Poor guy is so confused by his mother. It's hard to look at him and think he is only 1 1/2 weeks old. Canon has such a calming little spirit about him. Life was such a stress before he came so I really thought he would let me know how he felt about it. Instead, he came with a slice of humble pie for his mom to bite into. Anyway, I love him!!
The kids have been great with the new addition.
Jax is such a fantastic big brother. He is always asking if he can hold him and kiss him. Jax recently ran a little fever and I asked him to give the baby a break until he felt better. Jax was so sad and asked what he could do to get better soon, Vitamin C and lots of water. First thing in the morning, Jax would come down take the vitamin and a tall glass of water. He really missed not being able to hold his brother. Luckily, it only lasted a few days and he was back to lovin' on his brother.
Rylon is quick to get things for the baby. Rylon hears the cry and he comes running, "Mom, can I get anything?" I have used this to my advantage I will admit. Rylon is also a big snuggler. At the end of the day, I hear the boys talking about how many times they each got to hold Canon. Canon is a lucky guy to have brothers like this.
Eyrlin stands firm on being the only sister to Canon. I am glad that her being out numbered is not an issue at this point. Eyrlin loves to tell her brothers that when she gets older she will feed her baby and they can't. I love that she recognizes how awesome it is to be a women and someday a mother, we just need to work on her tone. She always has questions about all that I do to Canon. She will be a good mom someday.
Broden's life has been turned upside down. He loves his brother and sometimes a little too much. I try not to make a big deal of anything he does to the baby. Broden offers a lot of sweet kisses for Canon and Canon is a champ with the sloppy wet ones. I know when Broden has kissed him, he always leaves his mark.
We are all doing so well and adjusting nicely to our Canon. My kids have been such an example to me of love. I know I let a lot of my household duties take over the moments to really love my kids. So if my house is dirty just know it's because I am lovin' my kids. I am feeling extremely blessed these days and it's such a wonderful feeling.

it is so true that a new baby can bring so much peace into our homes, when it seems that a new baby should bring more stress and chaos. You just can't help but feeling that all is well when you stare at your perfect little baby!
