Today was the Primary program and Rylon had a big part. We got the part about three weeks prior to the big day, and we needed all three weeks of practice. Rylon had to recite it if he wanted a snack, play outside, watch a movie, etc. He probably said it about 5-10 times a day. I thought for sure he would be relieved it was over ,but no, he is so sad. I was not in the chapel when it all went down, but I was in the mother's lounge, lounging and listening.
Rylon also sang at the top of his lungs, "I BELONG TO THE LA, LA, LA SAINTS. I KNOW LA, LA, LA, AM. I KNOW LA, LA, LA PLAN."
Prior to this big day, I was approached by one of the primary presidency members, asking that I have a talk with Rylon about yelling out the songs when he didn't know the words. I talked with him and he said, "but mom they want us to sing loud." I couldn't argue, however, I did talk to him and thought it was resolved. But Wait,Oh no, anytime the conductor started waving her arms Rylon was there make sure he had his loud la, la voice going.
Rylon was really trying to give it his best. I know that his intentions were to give his mom and dad a great performance, and he did. We are really proud of our little Rylon and his loud la, la's.
Jax was also part of the primary program, no part's but a beautiful singing voice and a smile.

Way cute! My favorite Sacrament Mtg of the year is the Primary Program.
What fun, that's too bad that Jax didn't get a part. They gave everyone in our ward a part, unless you sang in a special musical number. I thought that was fair.
I love the LA LA story.
Wesly had a part(ours was today too), it was small, but he said it VERY BOLDLY! :) little kids sure love to talk in the mic.
Ah, that was so sweet. He did so awesome, and the la la story is cute too!
I second that! The Primary Program is always my favorite Sacrament Meeting of the year. Isn't it amazing how it all comes together too?
Wow long yet great. Glad you conquered your day
