Bad and Ugly
1. The kids have been battling the stomach flu for almost two weeks now. I hear a cry in the night, and jump up in a mad dash just to find out I might have been dreaming. When I'm half asleep, I never know if I'm hearing a barf cry or John snoring, sad but true.
2. Our little bubs (aka Broden) has a tooth coming in. I feel so bad when he is in pain, there really is nothing to do other then hold him. I'm either up in the night with barf cry's/John snoring or Bub's tooth pain.
3. My stomach issues are back. Lot's of pain but not sure what it is.
The GOOD!!
1. Lots and lots of snuggling, holding, loving on the kids. The older they get the less they snuggle. I tried holding Jax like a baby the other day, and he informed me that he was six years old and I couldn't hold him like a baby. Who told him that!? Jerks!!
2. Broden only wanting what comforts him the most. I love that feeling when your child is sad or hurting and they know they can find comfort in their mom. Mmmmm, I love this.
3. Eyrlin's new phrases. "Mom, I need some water to wash away my barf." or "Mom, I told my barf to stay in my mouth." or "(Cough, cough), bless me." instead of excuse me.
The good always out weighs the bad. I really did enjoy my week to think about the things that matter to me......
MY BEAUTIFUL FAMILY!!!

Boy, that picture of John really sneaks up on you, doesn't it? Yikes! Erlyn sounds adorable, "my barfs" so cute. I hope all your varied digestive issues clear up soon :)
Shoot! I spelled Eyrlin's name wrong, don't tell her I did that, I don't want her to get mad at me!
Kathy..sounds like you've been having fun at your house...that's the worst when your kids are sick. You are such a good mom. Sorry your little ones haven't been feeling so hot. Hope they get feeling better soon.
tober's thanks for finding us. Glad to hear your doing well. We miss you all.
I'm glad that you were able to find the good in all that sickness, cause sometimes it is hard. Thanks for posting this.
