Some of the art on display with price tags
John buying some art
Jax and Rylon decided to have an art sale. They wanted to make hundreds of pictures and I agreed to 20 pictures. They were open for business at 6 o'clock.
This was such a fun creative idea they had. Rylon was our greeter and stood at the door. Eyrlin was behind the register with Jax handling the computer. Jax was over the actual money. We walked in and they had pictures everywhere.
After we purchased our pics, we brought them to our room and set them on our bed. Jax walked in and said so where are you gonna hang them. Uh Oh..... Where was I going to hang them? I didn't think about that.
Ah-ha, "Jax I don't want to hang them, I want to make a book out of them and put them in a binder so I can look at them every night."
"Mom, if you hang them on the wall you can look at them every night."
"Yea, but if I put them in a book I can look at them downstairs too."
"Why don't you just hang one picture in each room." Jax is too smart for me.
"Yea, but what if they fall off the wall and someone steps on it and it gets ruined." I thought I was finally getting him to commit to a book idea.
"Mom, you can just buy more, I'm going to be open everyday from noon to six."
"Yea, but what if I run out of money." I'm getting there.
"Dad will give you money."
John chiming in so lovingly, "Yea mom, I'll give you money."
Hrrr, why can't husbands cooperate, "Jax, I would love to hang your pictures up in every room in the house."
" Wait mom, we wont have enough tacks to hang them up. Maybe you should put them in a book."
"Great" ,with a glare at my husbands laughter.
John tried to keep it going but he knew his little moment of humor might leave him homeless.
So now I have a book of beautiful art from my kids. I'm lovin it!!

That is hilarious! Isn't it fun how they can argue so effectively? What happens when they are teenagers. . .?
Jax is the funniest kid! I remember thinking he was way smarter than his years in AZ. That is such a cute idea your kids did! I can't wait for things like that. The funniest thing Siena did today was to tell us that her favorite 3 people were "Mommy, Daddy, and Indiana Jones." (Jared got her hooked...)
Soo cute! I love the fun make believe games boys play all the time. How's school going?
Too funny! Maybe next time you can talk him into having a book sale.
So cute. Kids can be so determined sometimes.
