We got a text message Sunday night that read, “We are planning to go boating in the morning….would you want to join us?”
Response,”YES!”
We headed out Monday morning and ended up on the lake around 8 or 9AM. It was the perfect lake day, all clouds and a nice warm breeze.
I took lots of pictures of our first family lake day but only have a few to post.
Rylon is in the middle with his friends.

Canon watched his siblings play in the water.
There were some naps and relaxing on the boat.
The boys loved sitting up front as we cruised around the lake.
I was really loving the way the waves hit the board. It was cool to watch! (not John’s feet, they were Eric’s)
The boys asks us how much a boat cost and John replied, “Somewhere around $40,000.” The next morning Jax and Rylon were talking about their money over breakfast.
Jax said, “Rylon, if you and I start putting our money together we could buy a boat faster.”
John, “You guys are going to buy me a boat?”
Jax, “No dad! It’s for us.”
I guess John will have to save his own money for a boat!
It was a fun day on the lake with good friends, lots of kids, and tons of smiles!
