Something to Talk About…

Enough will all the medical drama, it’s time to talk about something else.

I am feeling pretty good, everyday just keeps getting better. I feel pretty optimistic in going forward, and I am off all the crazy meds (YAY!). I really feel extremely blessed by the love and support from friends and family. I wrote 32 thank you notes to everyone who came to our home and expressed love and concern towards us. It was absolutely overwhelming and, I don’t know how I will ever repay them all. I have a few ideas.

Now that everything is moving forward again we decided to start school. I am suppose to be pretty home bound so I thought it would keep my mind off of  cleaning and on to sitting and teaching and reading and loving and taking it easy.

Canon at School

This sweet little guy decided to join us and he thinks he is so big. Canon grabbed the pencil and started writing on the table. Instead of pulling him away I just slipped the paper under his eraser. Canon sat there for most of the school day, honestly, I was surprised but really happy.

Canon is a walking, talking machine. He is adorable. Here is an extra sweet moment with him in the tub.

Canon Bath

Anyway, back to school. We have been taking things a bit slow. Jax is starting 4th grade curriculum, Rylon is starting 1st/2nd, Eyrlin Kindergarten, and Broden preschool.

Broden has been so excited as he watched me printing and putting things together for him. Broden had no idea why he was excited he just was.

I love this boy! He always makes me laugh.

One big thing that we have changed is our wake up time. All kids, minus Canon, wake at ……….. 6:00AM. Ouch, I know.

Eyrlin Asleep

As you can see, Eyrlin is struggling a bit with the new time. She is sitting on her bed and laying on her dresser asleep. The kids have gotten use to the early time and wake on their own now. It was a rough first week but we made it through.

I don’t have pics of Jax and Rylon but, they are doing well with all the new changes and when school is done for the day, I find them digging deep in a sea of Legos. I LOVE you Legos, now lower your prices a bit.

John is doing well. I hear the alarm screaming at him around 4:30AM every morning and he is passed out by 9:00PM every night. I wish I were as diligent as him but I use any excuse to squeeze out another 15-30 minutes of sleep in the morning.

Life is delicious with all the sweet memories we are making here in the Tober home. I love my bundles of joy and my ruggedly handsome husband.  Life couldn’t be sweeter!

YUM!!
