Photography and Guitar
I recently took a photography class from a wonderful friend. She is amazingly talented, and I can not say enough great things about her work.
Here is some of my BEGINNER work below. I am having a blast taking random pictures of my kids and bribing others to let me snap pics of them.

As you can see, I am still learning, but my kids are absolutely sick of me setting up a tripod and saying things like, “Wait!', “One more minute”, and so on. I am having so much fun pretending I am a big time photog! Watch out Hollywood I am coming to invade your privacy by chasing you around with my camera, ok maybe not, it doesn’t sound that fun now that I have typed it out.
My new love is my guitar, don’t worry, John is TOTALLY ok with it. My husband got me a guitar about 5 or 6 years ago, maybe 7? I have made many attempts at the thing, but I keep putting it back in it’s case for a later day. I finally enlisted some help and guess what? I can play about 15 songs now, I know, total professional! I will be playing live at the Awesome live guitar playing place here in Las Vegas soon with songs like Bingo, Jimmy Crack Corn, and Rock Around the Clock. Seriously, I am still ways away from where I would like to be after seven years of neglect. Every so often, I serenade my lovely husband as a thanks for not smashing the thing on a chair (secretly, he would love to do that just for the shock effect and really it looks super cool on TV. Wait…maybe I am torturing him with my songs and he will still try and smash the thing on a chair….). Well, my calluses are formed and I am the new Slash or Kash (Kathy+Slash, get it) of Guns n’ Roses except we are changing our name to Nerf Guns n’ Roses, less violent for my motherly image (some things I have to maintain and am not willing to compromise, sorry Axle).
I am now onto finding another new hobby, Marathons……….. Movie Marathons.

You could make some money for a couples get away!!! go stand on a busy corner dress as elves and jam on it!!
and the only thing that could improve your photog- skills is to take our family pictures. if you can do that you have got it made!
