Jax got his Bobcat!!! I still think I am
too young for this. Well, kind of, John did point out to me that I have been knitting in bed in a moo moo. To my defense, however, the moo moo was Ralf Lauren, and the knitting was a provident living skill I am trying to develop, dishcloths. Anyway, I am a proud mom of such a GREAT little guy. We love him!
Jax also had a birthday party that was off the hook. That’s right give a bunch of boys a sea of tissues and you’ve got an off the hook party. I hesitated to throw a party because well, honestly, I just don’t like them but I am glad I did. Jax has not stopped talking about all the fun he had with his friends. I am telling you it was OFF THE HOOK!
I was glad to see that our homeschooling hasn’t completely shattered my son socially. Jax’s “social awkwardness” was minimal and I sat down with him and gave him lesson on how to hide all that “social awkwardness”. Kidding, I am just being a brat! It was just so fun to see Jax interact with his friends and have such a great time.
I want a kid party now… I think we could all use a fun, silly social event every once in awhile, right?
