Valentine's this year started out with a night full of sick kids. I woke in the morning with a gift from my husband.....Tools! I have wanted my own set of tools for around the house for quite a while. It was pink which was an added bonus. I just needed a hammer, screw driver, some nails, etc. and now I am set.
Dinner was truly the highlight of our Valentine's day.
BBQ pork, pink jello salad, purple mashed potatoes, and red Kool-Aid. My kids were in heaven with the red Kool-Aid.
We had a great V-day. When Jax and Rylon got home from church I sent them on a little scavenger hunt to find their Valentine's that they wrote each other. That took them a good 30 minutes, just in time for John to be home. We opened out Valentine's and then ate. It was a nice relaxing day. I even got a nap in from my all night crying, coughing kids. Johnny Lingo was on the agenda for a romantic Sunday movie but we skipped it and just enjoyed each others company. We delivered cookies to some friends, played Bingo with The Friend magazine, napped, played Lego's, and really had a great time together.
Happy Late Valentine's Day!!
