VIOLENT THOUGHTS AHEAD!!
My sweet, loving, kind, little Jax came home from church the other day and I asked how his day was. His response is always good, but not today.
Mom: "Hey, how was church? Learn anything new?"
Jax: "It was alright."
Mom: "Alright? Why, did something happen?"
Jax: (I will use fictitious names for the sake of privacy) "Fred wont let me sit by Barney. If I sit next to him he tells me to get up and move."
Mom: "So what do you do?"
Jax: "Well I don't want to be rude so I move."
I really had to bite my tongue. I thought of all these great things he could say to Fred.
"Yo Fred, Whacha gonna do about it."
"You must not be talkin' to me, Freddy!"
"You want me to move from this chair.....then make me."
" Fred you see these muscles? Do you really want to experience the power behind them?"
Then John reminded me that Fred was 7, dang husband!
Isn't this too young to be such a bully?! I just have such a hard time with stuff like this. I really can't take any ones feelings being hurt and especially when it's your own. Jax has such a tender heart and I want to preserve that as long as I can. I just pointed out how it made Jax feel and told him to learn from this, that it is never ever ok to make people feel the way he did. And a punch to the nose is sometimes ok, kidding people I didn't say that but I wanted to. I do love that he didn't want to be rude, seriously!! I'm never gonna make it with these thoughts.
On another note... Broden said his first prayer last night.
All we heard was Father, car, amen and a bunch of jib jab in the middle. We were all so proud of him and so excited that he opened and closed his prayer on his own. He is so determined to be big!!

I love that he didn't want to be rude. What a nice boy. He must get that from his dad. lol, jk! He's one of those boys all the moms want to marry their daughters. :) I also love that he's wearing a CTR ring. :)
Such nice boys. Praying already? Wow, we're excited that my little guy has 3 words now:) I don't think he can get a word in edgewise with his siblings.
Kathy, you're hilarious! I miss your crazy and embellished stories. Hope all's going well with your cute family.
