Good News Bad News

Good -
  • John is working his buns off. That is good when you are business owners.
  • Kathy had a great DI find.
  • Jax told us he wants to read The Book of Mormon before he turns 8. He is on 1 Nephi Chapter 7. October 2010 is his deadline.
  • Rylon started 1st grade Math and is doing well at it. He is also reading.
  • Eyrlin cleaned her room by herself for the first time. All was in the right spot.
  • Broden is starting to talk, finally. He is also in nursery now.

Bad -

  • John cooking chocolate cake all the time. I need to break him of that fast!!
  • Kathy is behind on the house work. I have 1 week to clean from top to bottom.
  • Jax lost a tooth and the tooth fairy forgot 3 days in a row to bring him money.
  • Rylon grew out of his church shoes.
  • Eyrlin smashed her own fingers in her bedroom door
  • Broden can climb out of his bed now.

The Tober house is in total school mode. I haven't been much help to my husband and the business. John gets mad at me when I start to feel like I need to help him out, I really appreciate that though. I often need to be reminded that it's ok to not be everything to everyone. I think his exact words were, "The kids need a full time mother and I don't want to take that away from them." Isn't he cute!! I totally needed to hear him say that. I would have totally worked my buns off to see my husband succeed, but I think with school starting he felt strongly that the kids needed me more. I hope it's not because he thought I was doing a bad job?!

All in all, this family is doing great. School is in session and we are all working hard to learn. I haven't updated our school journal in a while but I will make that a goal of mine this week.

What a terrible tooth fairy!!! She had better make it up with some big bucks!!! Oh I hate it when they grow out of shoes it seems like such a waste!

Sounds fun and chaotic all at the same time. Good job to John for reminding you how important your job is too. And I adore crib tents. They saved my sanity with the twins.

hey, I see you haven't up dated in a while since the comments are old. But cute posts, I am just getting to them.
Say Katie Craig tonight and told her that I never did clean for you. She said that you could use help now! I didn't know you were expecting OR sick in bed. I'll be over this week! Like it or not!
Well, don't hold me to it.. Might be next week..... ;)
