I'm Ending My Relationship

I have been on the computer for seriously weeks. I have 2 emails, 2 blogs, facebook, the budget, our bank account, a talk, lessons, school material, calendaring, phone numbers, my bills, journal, pictures, and my personal information all on my computer. Obnoxious, I know!!

My biggest computer time consuming project is a business plan for my hubby.(if any one knows anything about a business plan, help!!) All I know is the computer sucks me in and runs my life.

I know you are probably thinking "then why are you blogging right now." Answer: "I DON'T KNOW!!" or "What about your kids?" Answer: "I have kids?"

Well enough is enough!! I'm breaking up with my computer. I really think we spend too much time together. I need my space. I still want to be friends. I just can't be joined at the hip or finger tips anymore. I have to see other people, no seriously, I do have to start looking at people instead of a flat screen. It's not me, it's you. Well sometimes it's me.

Oh, how I wish it were that easy!! If the computer didn't store half my life on it I would totally dump this puppy. Instead, I am converting back to my usual hour a day before the kids wake up. No more morning, nap, night and sometimes the here and there's. I totally feel for the computer addicts out there, but two weeks was long enough for me. Way too long!!

Now it's time to see how the washer works again and the dryer..... and iron ......and dishwasher ...... and ....... OH LOOK!! I HAVE KIDS!!

You are so funny Kathy! I love reading your blog, you are so real and down to earth...I love it!! I deactivated my facebook account for a whole two days and then it sucked me back in. Good for you in trying to balance life and the computer. :)

I'm sooo with you. I've started limited my time too. I have to complete certain things before I can check my email etc each day. Now to get my kids off the dang thing too!

I hope your computer didn't cry and understands. I seem to go in spurts of always being on the computer or never...good luck!
