Thanksgiving in Arizona

We had a great weekend in Arizona with my family. I think it was a little shorter then I would have liked, but I'm just so glad we live close enough to go.

Thursday, we gathered all together and ate our beautiful brown turkey and semi pinkish ham. After we ate, the women went to see the movie Twilight and then back home for some games. Friday we went hiking in the morning, leftovers for lunch, and Christmas lights that night. Saturday we headed back home.

See, it was a short trip. I just love being with my family, lots of laughing and fun. I feel such a great spirit when I'm with them and we all love each other a lot.

I just love taking the spirit of Thanksgiving and rolling it over to the celebration of Christ's birth. And then the celebration of his birth to resolutions for the new year. It's such a great time of year!

Posts to come:
Rylon's birthday
Decorating the house
Traditions
Broden turns 9 months
Setting our New Year's Resolutions (Oh, I ain't scared at all)
and more........it's gonna be a big month for us.

Fun! Happy Thanksgiving. We headed up to Brianhead (in UT) to my parents cabin and enjoyed a beautiful, white and snowy Thanksgiving. I too agree that you can never spend too much time with the fam. I LOVE it. Glad you had fun....next time come to town when I'm here!!

So I was hoping to see some pics of dear old Fred and your mom...we got rather attached to them as our marriage teachers you know. :) ARe they still living in that ward? I know they were thinking about moving. And how was Twilight? I'd love to hear your opinion
