Out Smarted, Again!!

We have a routine in this house and it goes a little something like this; bath, teeth, scripture, song, prayer and then bed. The kids always try to squeeze out a few extra minutes with the usual things like,

Can you read us another story?
Can you sing us one more song?
Can you snuggle me?
Can we watch a movie?

John and I decided enough was enough, we explained to the kids lights are out at 8:00PM, if you want a book, song, or whatever else you have to ask us before then. It worked, we put them to bed and silence, until tonight........

"Dad, can you read me another chapter out of the Book of Mormon?" Jax, of course.

FOR THE LOVE!!!! Way too smart for us.

So, John is in the other room reading, "And now it came to pass...." I mean, seriously, how do you say, "NO!! There will be no more scripture reading in this house after 8!!"
