New Year's Resolutions

Last Night, for family home evening, we had a lesson and then made our New Year's resolutions known to each other. The three things I asked were:

1. What is something you can do better in the home?
2. What is something you can do to help you draw closer to Christ?
3. What is something you just want to do?

And here are the results.

John
1. Everyday show mom how much I love her (isn't he cute, I just wonder what he wants)
2. Read and Pray more diligently
3. I want to become the master of my own time
Kathy
1. Spend more time having fun(I was told I'm never fun because I'm always cleaning)
2. Serve more
3. Run a 10K
Jax
1. Help out more
2. Say my prayers everyday
3. To help make my brothers and sister happier
Rylon
1. Be nice to everyone
2. Be nice to my primary teacher (Oh boy, was he not?)
3. Be nice at church
Eyrlin
1. Share my blankey
2. Flap my wings more
3. Turn my own light off

Well here we have it a start for our 2009!!! Happy New Year!!

You go, with your 10k!!! I love running, but something always seems to get in the way of my routine! For now, I will just do fun exercise videos...

I get it. Flap your wings so you can get closer to Christ - literally.

I loved your idea with the resolutions. We did that for our own FHE and it turned out fantastic!

well, sis. Sams and I are Rylon's new primary teachers, so I'm grateful for his new years resolution to be nice to us!
